St.George Melbourne Marathon Festival
Over 20,000 people competed in the 2009 St.George Melbourne Marathon last year and even more are expected to compete this year in the St.George Melbourne Marathon Festival, on Sunday 10th October 2010.
The St.George Melbourne Marathon Festival offers a choice of four distances, and features one of the most memorable finishes of any running event in the world, with all participants having the opportunity to run a lap of the mighty MCG before crossing the finish line in front of the MCC Members Stand.
The courses take in some of Melbourne's most famous landmarks, including Federation Square, the Victorian Arts Centre, St Kilda Road, the Tan, the Shrine, Albert Park Lake and Beaconsfield Parade.
